The Blend is supplied in three individual parts for transport. However, with a few simple steps and some helpful tips, you can easily get your bike ready for your first tour together. We’ll show you step by step how to do it so you can finally get going. Just as you like. Just as you are.

  • Allen keys (4 mm 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm)
  • Torque Wrench
  • 15 mm open-ended spanner
  • Diagonal cutting pliers or small scissors
  • Manual

Step 1: Unboxing

  • Take your BLEND and all other parts out of the box
  • In the box you will also find 1-2 smaller boxes containing the seat post and tyres
  • Remove all packaging and protective film from your BLEND

Step 2: Fitting the seat post

  • Insert the seat post with the pre-assembled saddle into the seat tube
  • Note: The seat post comes with a minimum insertion line marked on it. Make sure that this line is not visible after adjusting the saddle height.
  • Tighten the screw to 4 Nm

Step 3: Adjusting the handlebar

  • Now you can straighten the handlebar and adjust the angle
  • Tighten the screws to 6 Nm

Step 4: Installing the front wheel

  • First, remove the thru axle from the fork using a 6 mm hex wrench
  • Position the front wheel into the fork
  • Slide the thru axle from the brake side through the fork and the hub of the wheel
  • Completely thread the thru axle into the fork dropout
  • Tighten the thru axle lever to at least 15 Nm

Step 5: Installing the pedals

  • Fit the left pedal and use a little grease if necessary
  • Turn the pedal anti-clockwise into the thread of the crank arm
  • Turn the right pedal clockwise into the thread of the right crank arm
  • Tighten both pedals to 35 Nm
