The SHIMANO Ultegra BR-R8010 Direct Mount brake callipers impress with optimum controllability and performance with reduced friction. The brake callipers are attached to corresponding Direct Mount forks or in the bottom bracket area of Direct Mount rear dropouts.

• Symmetrical dual pivot design reduces friction while increasing control and performance
• Adjustable spring preload (only for rear wheel brake body)
• Angle-adjustable cartridge brake pads (R55C4) for perfect alignment

Note:
As the rear brake does not have a quick release, the SM-CB90 brake cable adjuster (or technically identical) is recommended for easier installation and removal of the rear wheel. It also allows the tension to be adjusted.
