Modern bicycles are increasingly being fitted with 12 mm thru axles at the rear. If you want to attach your previously purchased Topeak JOURNEY TRAILER with quick release to your new bike, you'll quickly run into problems with the more modern thru-axle system.
With the 30 mm wider JOURNEY TRAILER TX YOKE/fork and the matching optional 12 mm x 180 mm thru-axle (thru-axle kit – available with three different thread pitches), nothing stands in the way of future rides.
