HAMAX CARESS Child Bike Seat with Lockable Frame Bracket

Protect what matters most to you! With the HAMAX CARESS frame mounting, the child's safety comes first. When developing this bike seat, special consideration was given to the protection of the head through more support, improved lateral arm protection as well as the protection of the feet.

When it comes to comfort, there were also no half measures taken: The integrated suspension, soft padding and helmet recess ensure a comfortable ride. And if your little passenger's eyes should close while riding, you can tilt the CARESS into a sleeping position using the central rotary knob. What’s also practical: The child bike seat has several size adjustments so that it grows with your child and you can enjoy it for a long time.


Reclining function:
The integrated HAMAX folding system with rotary knob can be used to set a 20° inclined sleeping position for the child.

Shoulder pads:
The shoulder pads provide additional comfort and make it easier to put on the seat belt.

Backrest:
The adjustable back system allows the height of the back support to be adjusted to the shoulder height of the child so that the child seat grows with the child.

Helmet recess:
The helmet recess ensures optimum comfort as it prevents the child's head from being pushed forwards.

Reflectors:
Reflectors on the back of the child seat increase visibility in the dark.

Note:
The child seat must not be fitted to carbon frames!
Installation may only be carried out on seat tubes with a round tube profile.
The Caress may only be attached to the seat tube. Mounting on the seat post, for example, is not permitted.
The distance between the underside of the child seat and the tyre, luggage rack or mudguard underneath must be at least 12 cm.
